All are nostalgic for the game console of the year they were 11. Got a constant low-key urge to get a LED grid for game dev. Wow, those games sucked. Channeling to these; charm debatable.
Test01-- yes yes, blue LEDs were 15y later. Test02 -- Test03 (starfield!)
I plausibly deny what this is, but *you* know.
WASD and space for all of them. Click till it does something!
4-bit River Raider, but this basic thing got repackaged hundreds of ways.
There were a billion versions of skeet shooting, too. They all sucked. God we were so bored, you can't imagine.
So many breakouts, too. Byte math particle dynamics; always curious-- turns out, the ball may never go sideways! Woz did it with transistors; he wins.
Maze hunting: get the yellow thing before the red thing gets you. No A* on your Z80, cheater.
Star fight: green bad lazers go WASD+space no lazers yet
Bowling, not much like bowling. I oughta add an overlay-- that would convince you!
To do/kinda want to do/ugh: soccer/hockey/rugby/basketball. Submarine depth charges! One of the Star Trek games that used text consoles and was turn-based-- but I'd have to do overlays, and that's a lot of retooling now. Something that's just an overlay with status lights and an instruction book!
